URANPRES , s.r.o. is a modern construction company established in 1994.
It is the legal successor of Uranium Exploration Ltd., which has been operating in Slovakia since the 1960s. It was mainly engaged in prospecting and exploration of uranium ore deposits within Slovakia. It was allocated a mining area in the Novoveská Huta locality, where uranium and copper ores were explored and mined. At the beginning of the 1990s, in connection with political and economic changes in Slovakia, subsidies for exploration and mining of ores were reduced. Mining was stopped and the deposit was conserved.
At present URANPRES, s.r.o. belongs to the leading construction companies in Slovakia. We realize all kinds of constructions thanks to the high expertise of our employees and our practical experience.
Since its inception, the company has been based in Spišská Nová Ves, in connection with ownership changes, since 08.03.2013 its registered office has been in Prešov, at 29 Čapajevova Street.The main production, warehouse and administrative base has remained in Spišská Nová Ves, at 2 Fraňa Kráľa Street, and in Novoveská Huta.
