Construction of road and railway tunnels is the largest turnover segment of URANPRES, s r.o.
URANPRES was a contractor or subcontractor of tunnels both in Slovakia and abroad (Czech Republic, Slovenia, Montenegro, Spain, Finland, Sweden).
Tunnels are generally constructed using conventional excavation methods, where URANPRES has experience in the construction of tunnels using NRTM and ADECO-RS methods.
As part of underground construction works, the company carried out the construction of power feeders, the construction of underground cavern gas storage tanks, the construction of a subway, exploration and preparatory works for the extraction of coal, ore and mineral raw materials.
